In 2015, Shane and his then-wife Tamyka spent $23 million on a home in Santa Monica, California. The 3.35-acre property was purchased apparently without ever having set foot on it. The dramatic shootout at the end of “Beverly Hills Cop” took place in this house.

The deal turned out great for Shane and Tamyka. Speculation about their breakup led to the sale of their Santa Monica mansion in April 2021 for less than $49 million. In May of 2021, Shane dropped $11.7 million on a property in Malibu, California.
