Watch The Janet Jackson Together Again Tour Performance With Hits And Rarities

On Friday (April 14), Janet Jackson began her ‘Together Again Tour’ in Florida, performing a variety of her blockbusters in addition to some of her lesser-known songs.

It had been four years since the singer had performed live, and this event at the Hard Rock Live venue marked the beginning of a 34-show run across the United States. The tour, which will be held in celebration of her 50-year career, will place an emphasis not only on her greatest songs but also on her albums ‘The Velvet Rope’ (1997) and ‘Janet’ (1993).

During the 40-song performance, the singer sang a number of singles from her repertoire, such as “Control” and “Nasty,” as well as live premieres for songs such as “Damita Jo,” “Enjoy,” “Girlfriend/Boyfriend,” and “Like You Don’t Love Me,” among others. You’ll find some video footage down below.

The event also included a remix of “Together Again” by DJ Premier, as well as classics such as “Rhythm Nation,” “All For You,” and “Scream,” as well as rarities such as “Because of Love,” which was played for the first time since 1995 and “Diamonds,” which was performed for the last time in 2011. Jackson shared the news that new music was in the works, along with the announcement of the tour that took place a year ago. During that time, she made the following statement while appearing. “There is new music. Many of the supporters have shown their concern by asking, “Where is the new music? When are they going to give us some new music? That means there will be brand-new songs.
