On November 8, 1989, Solána Imani Rowe was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She is the daughter of a Christian mother (an AT&T executive) and a Muslim father, and she was raised in a Muslim home in Maplewood, New Jersey (an executive producer at CNN). How Did SZA Start Her Career?
SZA made acquaintances with Top Dawg Entertainment members during the CMJ New Music Report in 2011 when her boyfriend’s clothing company sponsored a performance where Kendrick Lamar was performing.
