The first trailer for Season 4 of Stranger Things was published on February 14, 2020, to celebrate the beginning of filming. It’s simply a teaser, but it’s better than nothing. We returned to the Rainbow Room in Season 4 with a teaser that was released on May 6, 2021.
Hinting at more of Eleven’s origin tale being told. Another sneak peeks at the upcoming season was released on August 6, 2021, this time with a lot more brand new footage mixed in with clips from prior seasons.
Creel House and the family that had resided there were featured in a short film on September 25, 2021. As of November 6, 2021, the full trailer for Eleven’s new life in California will be released, which features Eleven writing to Mike about her transition, but also her excitement about seeing him again for Spring Break. That wasn’t the end of it. On April 12, 2022, came the publication of another trailer.
When Is the Stranger Things Season 4 Release Date?
The COVID-19 closure likely damaged Netflix’s original plan. While work on the next season of The Walking Dead began in January 2020, the outbreak of the pandemic forced production to be halted for several months before it could begin again in October 2020.
Even though Stranger Things was originally scheduled to shoot for seven months, from January to August 2020, the post-production process is taking far longer than expected.
On May 27, 2022, volume one of Season 4 of Stranger Things will be released, followed by volume two on July 1, 2022. Netflix has also announced that the show will return for a fifth and final season.
