Andy Cohen and other Bravolebrities were shocked to hear that Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann were getting divorced.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum and her retired NFL star spouse were reportedly divorcing on May 8 after over 12 years of marriage, according to TMZ. A week later, Teresa Giudice discussed her feelings when she learned Kim and Kroy were divorcing her during an appearance on the May 16 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
Leslie Bibb, Teresa’s fellow visitor, admitted that she was “kind of shocked” by the news and “so sad” about it because the two “seemed so in love.”
“I was, too,” Teresa affirmed. Andy then inquired as to whether the cast member of The Real Housewives of New Jersey had gotten in touch with Kim in any way after the news broke. Teresa said, “I texted her, yeah,” but she didn’t elaborate on the details of their text conversation.
As the WWHL host disclosed on the May 9 broadcast of his SiriusXM series, Radio Andy, Andy had also contacted the mother of six (Kim and Kroy have four children together — sons Kroy Jagger “KJ,” Kash, and Kane, and daughter Kaia Rose — and Kroy adopted Kim’s daughters Brielle and Ariana).
“Texted a little bit with Kim yesterday,” Andy said. “[I] sent my condolences, because it’s a sad thing. They have kids, and that was just a couple [who] seemed very much in love.”
“I was very surprised. That was not the news I ever expected to get. They seemed so much in love and just together,” He continued, “I mean, they were a couple that, yeah, I thought they were in it for the long haul.”

Although Kim hasn’t publicly addressed the breakup, she did use social media on May 14 to send a special Mother’s Day greeting to her fans.
“Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there,” she wrote in an Instagram Story. “Sending love to all the ones that have lost their mom. Sending love to dads that are also moms.”
