Japanese light novel Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu, sometimes called Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, was written by Rifujin na Magonote. First released in November 2012 on the web novel website Shsetsuka ni Nar, it was revealed a year later that the light novel would be drawn by Shirotaka and released by Media Factory’s MF Books.
