The most recent musician biography, Michael, has received positive reviews from critics and spectators alike. For instance, Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis received eight nominations for the Oscars last week, and its actor Austin Butler is a serious contender for the Best Actor award.

Rami Malek won that award in 2019 for his performance as Queen frontman Freddie Mercury in the film Bohemian Rhapsody. It is not surprising that Graham King, one of the producers of Bohemian Rhapsody, is also involved with Michael.

More nearby is the jukebox musical MJ. The Musical has been a hit on Broadway, selling millions of tickets and winning the Best Actor in a Musical Tony Award at the 2022 Tony Awards for its star, Myles Frost.

The movie “will not shy away from the scandals of Jackson’s life,” notably the numerous allegations of child sexual assault, according to Deadline (for which Jackson was tried and acquitted in 2005).

Wade Robson and James Safechuck claimed that Michael Jackson sexually molested them for years when they were children in the HBO documentary Leaving Neverland, released ten years after Jackson’s 2009 passing at 50.

Those accusations have been deemed “completely untrue” by the Jackson estate. Check out the music video for Jaafar’s 2019 song “Got Me Singing,” which has amassed over 8 million views on YouTube, if you’re interested in his abilities.
