What Roads Are Closed For The Rose Parade?
After the procession and subsequent cleanup, Colorado Boulevard will close to traffic at 10 p.m. Sunday and be closed until at least 2 p.m. Monday. From Orange Grove Boulevard to Sierra Madre Boulevard and up the Sierra Madre to Paloma Street, there will be closures in place.
To manage traffic, some freeway ramps in the Pasadena region will be closed from Sunday night until Monday afternoon. The following closures will be in effect, according to Caltrans.
Eastbound 210 off-ramps at San Gabriel Boulevard, Eastbound 134 Freeway at Orange Grove Boulevard, and Westbound 210 off-ramps at Sierra Madre. Orange Grove’s 134 Freeway on-ramp is heading west.
Where Is Parking For The Rose Parade?
Parade attendees were advised to use the Metro or another public transit to get to the event because parking in the vicinity will be scarce and frequently sells out early.
Four stations on the Metro L (Gold) Line are within a half-mile of the parade route, and service on the line starts at roughly 4 a.m. on Monday.
What Are The Rules For Overnight Camping?

- It is forbidden to utilize ladders or scaffolding to see the procession from a higher vantage point.

Drones are also prohibited along the procession route. Flights over the Rose Bowl while the football game is in progress, are also prohibited by the Federal Aviation Administration’s “No Drone Zone” regulation. Anyone who breaks the drone ban may be detained, charged, sentenced to jail time, and paid penalties.
As always, strict security will be along the parade route, and anyone caught breaking the law or causing a commotion will be ejected.
