The 42-year-old reality star is rumored to have spoken with prisoners in “solitary confinement” about the effects being locked up has had on their mental health at some time during the past week.
According to a source, TMZ, “Earlier this week, Kim spent a day at Pelican Bay State Prison in Crescent, California. Her main goal was to speak in-depth with prisoners who were being held in solitary confinement about the negative effects the isolation can have on their mental stability.”
The publication went on to claim that the “Kardashian” star traveled with “Spider-Man” actor Tobey Maguire and movie producer Scott Budnick and that she engaged in “deep conversation with several people as cameras rolled” after attracting attention from locals when her private jet landed at the city’s airport.
The founder of SKIMS, who shares five children—North, 9, Saint, 7. Chicago, 5, and 3-year-old Psalm—with ex-husband Kanye West, is currently pursuing legal studies. In 2018, she visited the White House of then-President Donald Trump to advocate for criminal justice reform.
She was there on behalf of Alice Marie Johnson, who was pardoned after spending 21 years in prison after receiving a life sentence in 1996 for nonviolent drug charges, thanks to Kim’s intervention.
