Keshia Knight Pulliam will give birth to her second child soon. The Cosby Show star and her husband, Brad James, are expecting a child. Although Keshia already has a 5-year-old daughter with her ex, Ed Hartwell, the child will be the couple’s first.
The 43-year-old actress captioned a Dec. 1 Instagram post that featured a picture of her flaunting her growing baby bump while giggling with Brad at the Tamron Hall Show while Salt-N-“Push Pepa’s It” played in the background, “Oh Baby Baby!! “Baby James on the way in 2023!”
Keshia discussed why she first kept the news to herself when appearing on the show. She told Tamron Hall, “Not that I’ve been trying to hide it. “However, after experiencing a loss and going through his ordeal, you want to savor the present and ensure that everything is well. We haven’t been concealing it, then. I’ve been moving about, acting, and experiencing life. But we just haven’t announced in that regard.
She is overjoyed that the secret is now public. Keshia continued, “I know many others have traveled on this road with us, so it feels nice.
Ella is eagerly anticipating the birth of a sibling. The actress continued, “She chats to the baby regularly and is so happy to be a big sister.” She asked, “Mommy, is the baby going to remain with us this time? ” as I was lying on my stomach.
She had previously taken this trip as well. Will it continue? She is overjoyed that everything is going well and that it is. She will make the most incredible big sister ever.
She has previously discussed her story, as Keshia noted. For instance, she discussed her choice to freeze her eggs in the film Eggs Over Easy: Black Women and Fertility.

She said in the OWN documentary, which debuted in January, “Precisely the week that I was supposed to start my shots, COVID-19 hit, and I was unable to move forward with my egg retrieval, or just the whole process, because as you know you have to do the shots, the hormones, and all these different things.” But I had to begin taking my medications literally two to three days later.
The announcement of Keshia’s pregnancy comes just over a year after her wedding to Brad in September 2021. They both appeared in Pride & Prejudice: Atlanta in 2019.
She referred to the actor as “my spouse, best friend, baby daddy, and so much more!” on an Instagram post commemorating his birthday in July. There is nobody else I would rather spend my life with.
