With the latest chapter of the series, Jujutsu Kaisen has officially thrown Panda into the deep end with his first and maybe final significant fight in the Culling Game! Yuji Itadori and the others in the Culling Game arc have already experienced their first intense clashes in the deadly tournament in both the Tokyo No. 1.
And Sendai colonies and the current string of chapters have now moved their focus to the fights in the Tokyo No. 2 Colony. The newest chapter has shockingly reunited with Panda after showcasing Kinji Hakari’s first important bout in the competition.
An unexpected regulation for new entrants in the Culling Game had separated Yuji and Megumi into randomly arranged various spots in the territory, as shown previously when they had entered the Tokyo No. 1 colony. Panda, however, has been separated from Hakari and left on his own. Even worse for the fighter, he is forced to confront Hajime Kashima, who is currently the colony’s deadliest fighter.
Panda is apprehensive about making the wrong initial move in Chapter 184 of Jujutsu Kaisen. He stays quiet for the most part, attempting to gain a sense of his bloodied surroundings, and he’s disappointed that he and Hakari were separated because he had hoped to employ Hakari as their main fighter.
However, when he eventually decides to move, he crosses paths with Kashima, which is arguably the worst possible scenario for Panda. The conflict begins as soon as Kashimo recognizes him as a player.
Despite all of Panda’s tremendous methods, both seen and unseen in the story thus far, Kashimo’s electric cursed skills tear apart Panda’s body, leaving him bloodied and defeated as the chapter ends. While this is his first significant battle in the Culling Game, it is also likely to be his last.

The film was released on December 24, 2021. In a parody of the My Hero Academia and Demon Slayer films that have swept the Japanese box office. Jujutsu Kaisen is still a relatively new concept.
Jujutsu Kaisen, currently the last pillar of the anime world, has soared in popularity after only one season. Yuji has since become one of the most well-known faces in the shonen genre due to this film.
The Story of Yuta and Rika
The film is set a year before the events of the first season. When the new initial years of Jujutsu Technical School started. We see Okkotsu emerge out of his shell and love the people around him in the class of Panda, Maki, and Inumaki.
Seeing him succeed in the world of curses and sorcerers is also inspiring. We see the beginnings of characters like Maki, who we first met in the anime’s first season.
Is Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Canon?
The precursor manga series on which the movie’s story is based is a one-shot manga series. The manga was published long before Jujutsu Kaisen became popular. However, as Jujutsu has grown in popularity in the anime and manga worlds, the prologue has always been considered canon.
And now that Yuta has his film, he is being featured in the manga’s most recent chapters. Both the prequel manga and the movie are certainly canon to the larger tale.
Even if there were no canon pressure, I would recommend this film to any fan of the first season or manga. It is a must-see for any Jujutsu lover, with its incredible fight scenes and lore implications.
What Does This Mean for Western Fans
With the Blu-ray and DVD releases, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will be available in every home and will be available online through numerous sites. However, you do not have to wait until September to see the film.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 English dub was released in select theatres across the US, UK, and Canada on March 18th, 2022, becoming the 10th highest grossing anime film of all time.
You will not be able to watch the film online right now. According to some sources, the film will be available on Disney+ on July 8th.
With all of the excitement around the project, MAPPA has already confirmed that the anime will return for a second season in 2023.
The shonen world is already on fire, with Chainsaw Man premiering its first season and My Hero Academia returning for its sixth season. And Jujutsu’s second season will just add fuel to the fire.
