James Roberts is a former Indigenous Australian professional rugby league player who played center for the Wests Tigers in the National Rugby League. Throughout his career, he represented City Origin and New South Wales.

James Roberts had an outburst in court before being led out by three police officers. He was observed pounding a police van and screaming from within. Following his arrest, NSW Police took him to Mascot Police Station for additional investigation into possible AVO violations. Roberts, who retired from the NRL in 2022, is scheduled to appear in court later this month for his AVO hearing.
