The Elric brothers, as well as the rest of the planet, are constantly threatened by the Homunculus. What happened to them at the end of FMA is described here.
Even though the “Father” is the final enemy boss in Fullmetal Alchemist, all of the Homunculus are his loyalists. They are, to continue with the RPG example, the mid-level boss. They are the ones Edward and his comrades must face before confronting the “Father.”
Homunculus is seven entities that reflect seven human crimes or characteristics. Each depicts a characteristic that “Father” has discarded to become a perfect, emotionless being. They’re major characters in the tale, and this is what happened to each of them after the conclusion of Fullmetal Alchemist.

Colonel Mustang and Second Lieutenant Jean Havoc were hunting Barry the Butcher when they came across Lust and began fighting her. Colonel Mustang sets off a closed-room explosion capable of vaporizing ordinary humans, but she regenerates from thin air. Not only that, but she uses her blade-like fingers to stab both the Colonel and Havoc. I finally finished Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, I’m so glad for this happy ending, everyone deserves it for all that happened.
I loved the final episodes, everyone allying to beat that Homunculus, Ed sacrificing his alchemist power to get back Alphonse.

Their huge break comes when Lust believes she has slain the colonel and battles Alphonse Elric and Lt. Hawkeye slowly. Mustang attacked him from behind at that point. He continues to blast her with multiple powerful explosions until she can no longer regenerate and turns to dust.
Gluttony
As a homunculus, Gluttony can eat anything he wants. However, the one characteristic that makes him dangerous is his detection ability. Once he catches a whiff of something, he will be able to find it no matter where it is in the world. That being said, he is not a good fighter, and he always dies multiple times whenever he goes against strong opponents.
When they face the Elric brothers, Van Hohenheim, the Chimeras, and Ling Yao and his friend, they do exactly that. Both of them take a lot of damage, but Gluttony is almost out of regeneration capacity. Pride, enraged and cornered, kills and swallows Gluttony. He was able to exploit Gluttony’s acute sense of smell as a result, but he was still tortured by his insatiable desire.
Envy
Envy’s major strength is his ability to change shapes. That said, he frequently finds himself in situations where he must face numerous opponents. Envy will likely revert to his real form in that situation, which is a gigantic lizard-like beast with human limbs and faces dangling from all over his body.
His most recent battle took place beneath the main city. The entire gang is present, but Roy Mustang, the Flame Alchemist, is the one who gives Envy the most trouble. Mustang goes insane on Envy after learning that he is the one who killed his best friend, Maes Hughes.
Combining a pinpoint blast to the eye with a sea of flames to scorch the feet at the same time. Envy, however, rather than being slain or pitied by the humans he despises, chooses to pull out his Philosopher Stone and end his own life.
Sloth
While the battle against Envy is taking place underneath the capital, a conflict against Sloth is taking place above it. Sloth received orders to kill Major General Olivier Armstrong of “The Northern Wall of Briggs,” who happened to be with her brother, Major Alex Armstrong of “The Strong Arm Alchemist.”
At first, they were able to handle Sloth, but his speed and durability proved to be a significant issue. Izumi Curtis, the Elric brothers’ instructor, and her husband arrive to assist. They can finally kill Sloth faster than his regeneration can keep up if all four of them work together. Sloth collapses on the ground, grinning because he can finally relax, and dissipates into thin air.
Wrath
The homunculus known as Wrath is King Bradley, the Führer of Amestris. He was formerly a typical human being before becoming a homunculus. He becomes a super-soldier with superhuman strength, speed, reflexes, and, most crucially, hyper acute eyesight after a philosopher stone from “Father” is imbued into his body. He, on the other hand, ages like a typical human being, unlike his sibling.
At the front of the presidential palace, he began his final battle. He fought the Briggs soldier as well as Ling Yao/Greed and his Xing comrade. Although the combat is quite one-sided, both Captain Buccaneer from Brigs and elderly man Fu from Xing manage to inflict a mortal wound on his body.
He then proceeds to the lowest level of the palace to duel Scar. Scar finally manages to decapitate both of Wrath’s hands, but he eventually dies due to his numerous injuries.
Pride
Pride is the first homunculus, and he’s a little difficult to take down. His main body is that of Selim Bradley, King Bradley’s 5-year-old son, but he also can see, talk, eat, cut, and even grasp or strangle his opponent.
Pride, on the other hand, is seriously injured in this final battle after being forced to perform Human Transmutation with him as the medium. As a result, he is severely weakened. As a result, as he confronts Edward Elric, the Fullmetal Alchemist manages to infiltrate his consciousness and force his true self, a little bab His body begins to disintegrate after that, just like the other Homunculi.
Greed
Greed is the final Homunculus to go from this world. Greed, unlike his siblings, has always followed his desires rather than the Father’s. He learns to accept people and even enjoys their company after being put into Ling Yao’s body.
Greed can carbonize his skin, making him impervious to all forms of physical damage. Greed assaults the Father on purpose in the final battle, knowing that he would absorb Greed since he requires the Philosopher Stone. Greed enters the room and begins carbonizing Father’s limbs.
Instead of strengthening it, he makes it brittle to the point of breaking. Father, enraged, exterminates Greed from inside. And with that, the Homunculus comes to an end.
