On February 11, 1979, Brandy Rayana Norwood was born in McComb, Mississippi. Willie Norwood, her father, is a gospel performer and choir conductor. Sonja Norwood, her mother, worked as a district manager for H&R Block. Ray J, a singer and actor, has an elder sister named her. She is related to WWE wrestler Sasha Banks and rapper Snoop Dogg. Brandy began singing because of her father’s involvement with the neighbourhood church choir. At the age of two, she gave her first gospel solo performance. According to the Highway Patrol, Brandy was moving at a speed of about 65 miles per hour when she failed to notice the cars slowing down in front of her. Before Norwood’s SUV made contact with her vehicle, Aboudihaj rear-ended the car in front of her and slammed on the brakes. As a result of the incident, Aboudihaj’s family has filed numerous lawsuits against Norwood. Her attorney has resolved each of them outside of court.
