He tells her that her uncle, Jeor, named Jon his steward and chose him as his successor because they realized that the actual fight was between the living and the De@d. Like Jon, Lyanna trusts House Stark because she wants a united North to defeat the De@d. Knowing that her uncle lost to the De@d at the First of the First Men and Jon lost at Hardhome frightens her. “We are not a large house, but we are a proud one,” she says, committing 62 men. Lyanna Mormont Fought In The Battle Of Winterfell
Lyanna steals the show at the Northern lords, Knights of the Vale, and Wildlings’ gathering after Jon wins Battle of the Bastards. She chastises Lord Manderly, Lord Glover, and Lord Cerwyn for betraying Starks in their time of need. She supports Jon, who becomes King in the North.
