3 Minors, 2 Adults Dead In High Point Police Investigating Apparent Murder-Suicide!

High Point Police: According to a press statement from the High Point Authorities Department, five persons were killed in North Carolina on Saturday in an incident that police investigate as a murder-suicide.

Around seven in the morning, two people were heard yelling for aid, and High Point police were contacted. After forcing their way into the house, where they discovered two adults and three children dead, they found the two persons outside asking for help. Whether or how the deceased are connected is unknown.

Man and woman had left the house in search of assistance, police captain Matt Truitt told CBS affiliate WFMY. Only a few days prior, eight individuals were murdered in Enoch, Utah, in what local officials believe to be a murder-suicide.

Police reported that 42-year-old Michael Haight killed his wife, Tausha Haight, 40, and his mother-in-law and the couple’s five children. According to his wife’s attorney, Haight was issued divorce papers on December 27.
