Tensura Movie Trailer Shows Epic New Character!

When it comes to Isekai (reincarnation) anime, the international world agrees that there is a large library of series available for fans to watch online. However, deciding which of these programs is worth your time might be challenging.

The amazing That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime series, popularly known as TenSura, should be on any Isekai anime fan’s watch list. The show’s second television season premiered last year to rave reviews throughout the world, and fans are already itching for more Slimy content.

Thankfully, a new teaser for the upcoming That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime film has been released online, revealing a November 2022 release date as well as a new character.

Reincarnated as a Slime Anime Is Heading to the Theatre

It was started shortly after the second season of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (TenSura) ended in Japan and a theatrical feature was in development.

The series’ official Japanese Twitter page also published a short preview trailer, which you can see below. The film’s title was revealed to be “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Guren no Kizuna Hen,” which translates to “Scarlet Bonds,” and it would be a brand-new work for the franchise.

The film will be set in a new country known as Razha, which is said to be located west of Tempest. Rimuru learns about a long-running conspiracy involving a girl with mysterious abilities, but they also meet another ogre survivor named Hiiro, who “used to hold Benimaru in high regard,” according to Anime News Network.

Reincarnated as a Slime Movie Release Date

When the theatrical film for the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (TenSura) franchise was announced, it came with the announcement that it would be released in Fall 2022.

The series’ Japanese website then posted the latest trailer for the upcoming film on March 3rd, 2022, as seen below.

The upcoming That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Guren no Kizuna Hen was officially unveiled in the teaser, and it will premiere in November 2022.

Fans should be aware, however, that the November 2022 release timeframe will only apply to the Japanese debut.

The film will most likely be released abroad four to eight weeks following its Japanese debut, though the exact date has yet to be determined.

Perfect Time to Catch Up on the Manga

The first volume of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (TenSura) was released in May 2014 as a light novel series.

The good news is that, in collaboration with Penguin Random House, a manga adaptation was created and released in English.

As of May 2021, the manga series had sold over 25 million copies worldwide.

Amazon, Barnes & Noble, BAM, Bookshop, Hudson Booksellers, IndieBound, Powell’s, Target, and Walmart, among others, sell physical versions of the manga series.

Since the main storyline’s publication, several spin-off series have been created, including The Ways of the Monster Nation, How Monsters Walk, Again as a Workaholic Slime, and The Slime Diaries, the latter of which was adapted for television in 2021.

Ventura: Scarlet Bonds, a light novel series, is being adapted into a film. The original story will be written by Fuse, the series’ author. Rimuru and his pals will combat a female with a mysterious power during the film. Aside from Benimaru, Benimaru will have to confront Hiiro, another ogre (featured in the key visual).

Ramiro Tempest has finally become the dark lord in the land of Tempest, according to the trailer. However, he is now concerned about a kingdom to the west of Tempest.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Storyline:

Rimuru is a slime that transformed into a demon king to save his friends from death. He and his friends created Tempest, a demon-infested land. Raja is a minor nation located west of Tempest. One of the world’s greatest mysteries is how a girl can accomplish things that no one else can.

That’s when Hiiro, an “Ogre survivor,” appears in front of Rimuru and his companions. The brother of their old buddy Benimaru, who used to live with them, has returned. The broken “Bond of the Red Lotus” now serves as a roadmap for a new war.

There’s a significant likelihood the film will be a new story set around the same time as That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Season 3’s light book Volume 7: Saint-Monster Confrontation, which will be adapted into a film. This is why you should read the other piece.

That Time I Got Reincarnated As a Slime Cast:

All of the recurring characters from the Tensura anime will return. Rimuru Tempest is played by Miho Okasaki, Milin Nava is played by Rina Hidaka, Diablo is played by Takahiro Sakurai, Shion is played by Mao Ichimichi, Veldora is played by Maeno Tomoaki, Benimaru is played by Mako
