Suicide At Disneyland Parking: The 51-year-old head of a Huntington Beach elementary school accused of endangering children was identified as the guy who appeared to have committed suicide at a parking structure at Disneyland on Saturday night.

The elementary school in Newland had Christopher Christensen as its principal. He was also a musician who performed and taught all across Southern California.

According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, who received a call regarding a person who fell or jumped from a parking garage at the Anaheim theme park, the apparent suicide was reported around 9 p.m. Saturday. Christensen’s death appears to be a suicide, according to the police.

On Monday, grief counselors were anticipated at the school. Dianna Gray, a friend, stated, “Being in education like Chris… you meet so many individuals. “There are those who stand out, and then there are others you wouldn’t forget after the meeting. You want to be friends with them. You wish to cooperate, work for, and collaborate with them. For me, he was that person.”

On Nov. 15, Christensen was detained on charges of assault and criminal child endangerment. The following day, he was let go. Although the Press-Enterprise stated that he was scheduled to appear on Monday, jail records did not indicate a court date.

Charges related to a family conflict were discussed in a lengthy Facebook post on Christensen’s page on Saturday night. In the post, he refuted the accusations made against him. Please keep in mind all the positive things I did for the field of education, the message pleaded.

The educational system released a statement. The district said: “With the departure of our beloved Principal Chris Christensen on Saturday evening, the Fountain Valley School District (FVSD) community has endured a significant loss.

“For more than 20 years, Mr. Christensen has been a trusted leader in FVSD. His links to our community and efforts to it are enormous. He was a lot of people’s father, son, spouse, brother, and friend. We are crushed and heartbroken by his departure.”

Christensen served as the principal of Courreges Elementary School (2011–2022), Fulton Middle School (2006–2011), and Moiola K–8 School before he was appointed the head of Newland Elementary School (2003-2006) In the Long Beach Unified School District, he also taught instrumental music to middle school students. A blog article on the Newland website states that Christensen is the father of three kids, who range in age from 19 to 26.
