New Jersey Woman Arrested, Charged For Murdering Husband: According to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, a woman from that county was detained and charged with killing her spouse. On Sunday night in Mays Landing, Marylee Wigglesworth, 51, is accused of killing her 57-year-old husband, David Wigglesworth.
Around 10 p.m., according to authorities, the Township of Hamilton Police Department was called to a residence in Mays Landing’s 5200 block of Somers Point Road. David Wigglesworth was found by the police there with a gunshot wound. Police say that he passed away there.
The death was ruled a homicide after an autopsy performed by the Southern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the cause of death to be a single gunshot wound.
Authorities detained Marylue Wigglesworth concerning her husband’s passing. The prosecution on any potential motives provided no additional information.
