This was Violet’s first state dinner, and it honored Emmanuel Macron, the president of France. The adolescent celebrated her 17th birthday alongside leaders of other countries, lawmakers, and celebrities. Ben Affleck’s daughter and Jennifer both wore black outfits by Ralph Lauren.

The actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus from Veep attended the state banquet with her son Charlie Hall, age 25. Along with President Joe Biden, the group included Jon Batiste, Stephen Colbert, Ariana DeBose, John Legend, and Chrissy Teigen.

A toast and good food

President Joe Biden reportedly welcomed the guests for his first state supper as president in a tent on the White House grounds. The magazine was informed by a source who had previously worked in the White House that “these are sophisticated and expensive occasions.” A broader agenda is undoubtedly at work if the administration is prepared to invest budget funds in them.

According to the media site, the State Dinner used leased linens, flatware, tablecloths, glasses, and plates. The French and American flags were represented by the red, white, and blue decor.

American Beauty rose varieties, and Piano Roses were used in the rose arrangements on the tables. American sparkling wine was served in champagne flutes as a toasting beverage.

According to reports, the first lady was highly active in choosing the dinner’s specifics, including the menu, dishes, seating arrangement, and more. The lunch, which featured caviar and butter-poached lobster, calotte of beef and watercress, and sunchoke salad, was delivered by White House Executive Chef Cris Comerford. The visitors had crème Fraiche ice cream for dessert.
