Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s mother was in a severe car accident, and she is thankful to God that she is okay. Ata Johnson, 74, was in a red Cadillac when it crashed Wednesday night in Los Angeles.
“Thank you, God… She is fine. Angels of mercy watched my mom last night when she was in a car accident. She will live and keep getting checked out, “Johnson said in a post on a social media site.
Johnson posted a picture of a wrecked car on Instagram. The vehicle’s hood was partly torn open, showing the inside of the Cadillac. In the photo, the bumper was bent out of shape, and car parts were lying around.

One of the side mirrors was broken, and it looked like the airbag on the driver’s side had been used. After an accident that could have killed her, the “Black Adam” actor kept talking about how strong his mother was.

The 50-year-old star thanked the people who helped his mother and were there for Johnson during the scary accident. “Thank you, LAPD & LAFD for being so caring & focused. Thanks for staying on phone and talking me thru it all.”
Johnson told his fans that he got an emergency call in the middle of the night and reminded them to check on their parents often because tomorrow is not always a given.
Rocky Johnson, his father and a WWE Hall of Famer, died of a massive heart attack in 2020. “I got one parent left, so if you still got your mom and dad, make sure you hug ‘em hard, cos you never know when you’ll get that 3 am call, we never want to get.”
