David Crosby, Co-Founder of Crosby, Stills & Graham Nash Passed Away At Age 81!

Graham Nash Passed Away

Former bandmates of David Crosby, Graham Nash, and Stephen Stills were among the many celebrities who paid their respects to the late singer, who passed away at 81.

Following his passing on Thursday, the musicians, who together with Crosby established the folk-rock trio Crosby, Stills & Nash and later Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young after Neil Young joined the group, paid tribute to their late bandmate.

Nash published a statement on Instagram and with Fox News Digital, saying, “It is with tremendous grief that I learned that my buddy David Crosby has gone.”

The pure joy of the music we made together, the sound we discovered with one another, and the close friendship we shared over all these many years have always mattered more to David and me than anything else, he continued. “I know people tend to focus on how volatile our relationship has been at times, but what has always mattered to David and me more than anything.”

“David lacked no fear in both life and music. In terms of pure personality and talent in this world, he leaves a huge hole. He expressed his thoughts, emotions, and enthusiasm through his exquisite music, leaving behind a remarkable legacy. These are the issues that matter. His wife Jan, his son Django, and all the individuals he has impacted in this world have my undying sympathy.”

Fox News Digital received a statement from Stills as well. “Death has entered the room on docile cat’s paws, according to an ascribed to composer Gustav Mahler that I read in this morning’s newspaper. I should have sensed trouble. Over the years, David and I had many headbutts, most of which were glancing hits but left us with numb skulls.

I was content to have reconciled with him. He was unquestionably a musical giant, and his sense of harmony was nothing short of brilliance.
Our vocals’ unifying force as they rose toward the sun like Icarus.

I am incredibly devastated by his departure and will greatly miss him.” Many other musicians joined Nash and Stills in their grief over the passing of the late rock icon.
