American football quarterback Daniel Stephen Jones III, sometimes known as Danny Dimes, plays for the New York Giants in the National Football League (NFL). In the 2019 NFL Draft, the Giants selected him as the sixth overall pick after playing college football for Duke.
In Charlotte, North Carolina, Jones went to the Charlotte Latin School. He accumulated 6,997 throwing yards and 98 touchdowns during his time in high school. Despite these figures, Jones had very little scouting after graduating from high school and was not listed on Rivals.com.
