Reporter, Host, Anchor, Weather

More than a decade of work as a professional journalist has given me the tools to do my job very well.

I enjoy reporting live from the scene, giving the viewers clear, accurate, and engaging information from the anchor chair, and even delivering the weather forecast from time to time.

I also enjoy the producing aspect of television news. Each day, the stories bring a different challenge for a grabbing lead, an understandable flow, and a good balance.

Ratings on my shows have remarkably improved at each station where I've worked. In many cases, the shows jumped to #1 after I've joined the team.

Anchoring, Reporting, and Weather
While reporting and anchoring are Randol's main focus, he also enjoys delivering the weather when asked. Here's a short sample from a recent morning newscast.
Morning Weather
Controversy was growing in the City of Madison over whether to let the grass in the medians grow wild or whether to mow it. This was a 4th of July piece that I dug up with a few calls the day before.
